SUPPORT
A safe space for every pupil
Our Pupil Support Team offers a nurturing and
supportive service designed to help pupils
manage their emotional, social, and mental
health needs alongside their academic
development. The team provides calm,
welcoming spaces—such as the Hub, Snug,
Loft, and Pod—where pupils can take time out
to reflect, refocus, or receive emotional support. These areas are used as
safe, structured environments and are not tied to rewards or punishments.
Pupils may choose to access these spaces for quiet working, one-to-one
conversations, or to manage challenging emotions in a positive, supported
way.
Working together to support
wellbeing
The team works closely with teaching staff,
senior leaders, safeguarding professionals,
and families to ensure that pupils receive
consistent care and guidance. They support
pupils in developing emotional regulation,
building confidence, and re-engaging with learning when needed. Parents
can feel assured that this service is designed to promote wellbeing and
resilience, while helping children build the skills they need to succeed both
in and out of the classroom.
