JUNIPER
THERAPY
Juniper Therapy offers tailored emotional and wellbeing support to pupils
and families. Led by a qualified Therapy Lead, the department focuses
on mental health, social-emotional development, speech and language
challenges, and parental guidance—ensuring comprehensive care.
Play & Creative Arts Therapy
Uses play, art, music, and movement to help
children express emotions and experiences
they may not yet be able to verbalise.
Therapeutic Counselling
Child-centred, non-directive sessions where pupils explore thoughts and
feelings at their own pace in a safe, trusting environment.
Speech & Language Therapy (SALT)
Focuses on improving pupils' communication skills, including listening,
understanding, and expressive language, through tailored plans.
Drawing & Talking Therapy
A gentle, non-intrusive approach using
drawing to help children safely explore
emotions and heal from trauma over a
12-week period.
