TRIPS
At our school, we believe in the value of learning beyond the classroom,
which is why we take part in a variety of school trips throughout the
week, many of which contribute to the Duke of Edinburgh Award
programme. These trips provide pupils with valuable opportunities to
build confidence, develop new skills, and experience the world around
them. Each year, we also organise a residential trip to Wales, which is
always a highlight. This exciting experience has previously included
activities such as sea rafting, toboggan riding, and zip lining, offering
pupils the chance to challenge themselves and create lasting memories
with their peers.
SCHOOL MEALS
At our school, we are proud
to provide free, nutritious,
and varied meals to all of
our pupils, regardless of
their Free School Meal
status. Each day, children
can choose from two
different hot meal options,
carefully prepared to cater
to a range of tastes and
dietary needs. Pupils also
have the option of a jacket potato, freshly made sandwich, wrap, or a
salad, ensuring there's something for everyone. Also, our dining room is
styled like a traditional diner, complete with retro touches and a warm,
welcoming atmosphere that encourages social interaction and a sense
of community.
