ADMISSIONS
Chaigeley welcomes students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health
(SEMH) or associated complex needs at any time during the year.
Admissions require an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and
take around 14 days to complete. Placement is coordinated with the
Local Authority, conditioned on paperwork, transport, and consent.
Families visit the school for tours and to discuss a partnership built on
openness, aligning with shared goals for the pupil’s development.

The referral process encourages honest communication about each
pupil’s aspirations and needs, fostering a collaborative agreement
between the Local Authority, family, pupil, and school. Once the offer is
accepted, a formal contract is drawn up, and transition arrangements
including start dates, consents, uniform, and transport are carefully
established to ensure a smooth integration into school life
