Forest Schools
Our Forest School programme is designed
to build resilience, confidence,
independence and creativity in students,
while boosting mental health through time
spent in nature. The woodland and beautiful
walled gardens, located on-site, features
natural paths, a camp‑style base with
seating, a canopy, and a fire pit. The
sessions are child‑centred and child‑led,
allowing students to explore and play according to their own
interests and learning styles. Through this approach, children
develop curiosity, self-esteem, empathy, creativity, communication
skills and environmental awareness. Key aims include fostering
respect for and knowledge of the natural world, encouraging
cooperation and promoting personal growth through achievable,
confidence-building tasks. Activities vary by age and ability, and
include nature exploration, den-building, using fires and cooking.
